The R5 Electric Strike is designed for remote opening of door and gates left- and right side and double-wing ones. It works together with ratchet-latch or ratchet type door lock.
To adjust the R5 Electric Strike to cooperation with door made of aluminium profiles and PVC the height of electric strike was reduced to 16,5 mm. Moving lower the axis of rotation of internal ratchet allowed to obtain peripheral movement of ratchet. Now Electric Strike can be mounting on narrow doorframes.
The advantage of this catch is its small dimensions and its symmetrical design thanks to which the version can be mounted both to left- and right side door. The additional advantage is the increased reliability of operation in case of twisted doorframe or distorted door.
